Tods Murray, like most large firms, has a number of departments and the structure of the traineeship largely reflects this. During your traineeship you may find yourself involved in a major commercial litigation, buying an office block or farm, or reorganising a unit trust. Trainees usually rotate seats every six months and gain experience in up to four of the following departments:
- Banking
- Capital Projects
- Commercial Property
- Corporate
- Litigation
- Residential Property
- Rural Property and Business
- Trusts, Executries and Tax
We place great emphasis on fostering a friendly working environment. We have an active Sports and Social Committee who create a steady stream of fun activities for staff to get involved in. Trainees usually play a full part in helping to organise events and also participate in many of the activities.
