The beginning of 2007 has already been a busy time for the Tods Murray Corporate team, having advised Melrose Resources plc in a placing of 7,000,000 new shares, producing proceeds of £26,950,000, and the admission of such shares to the UKLA’s Official List and trading on the London Stock Exchange.
Stephen Chan, Associate in the Corporate Department, commenting on the deal said he was delighted that it was completed in a very short timescale especially since there were additional aspects such as placing certain shares with US and Cayman Island investors.
The placing demonstrates the strength of Tods Murray’s Corporate team in the capital markets field, following upon the team having acted for The Scottish Metropolitan Property Company Limited in the early redemption of £60,000,000 of its Debenture Stock and the cancellation of the listing of the Debenture Stock from the Official List."
