Tods Murray and one of our clients Dobbies Garden Centres plc, teamed up on a joint initiative this spring, called "Good Corporate Advice Doesn't Grow on Trees ...".
The mailshot includes seeds provided by Dobbies which are presented in a "grow your own" pot with all you need to grow your own money plant. The campaign emphasises how Tods Murray can help grow a client's business.
Our Corporate team, led by partner David Dunsire, acts for Dobbies Garden Centres plc and the theme of the campaign fits well with Dobbies, as they themselves are on an expansion programme of growth.
Dobbies first became a client of Tods Murray over 30 years ago, when it was a relatively modest Scottish subsidiary of an English horticultural business, Waterers. Currently, Dobbies has 11 centres in Scotland and 9 in England and is now the second largest operator of garden centres in the UK.
If there is an example which epitomises how lawyer and client can work together to grow their business, it must be our relationship with Dobbies Garden Centres.
