Two Tods Murray partners took part in a charity event like no other! The Rob Roy Challenge, in its second year, took place on Saturday 23 June 2007. The event was a 55 mile challenge; consisting a 16 mile walk followed by a 39 mile cycle and was completed by British and overseas teams. Participants attempted to complete the task in around 8 – 12 hours.
Last year over 600 people took part and raised an incredible £380,000 for three charities: Children’s Hospice Association of Scotland (‘CHAS’), Cancer Research UK and Habitat for Humanity and these charities are looking forward again to support this year.
The team members from Tods Murray are partners Stephen Humphreys (who is completing this event for his second year, last year having an impressive time of 9 hours and 36 minutes) and Tony Watson. They will be accompanied by two further team members: Alistair Dalziel, Waterman Environmental and Scott Johnston, Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank Plc.
Good Luck to the team from all of us!
