Tods Murray LLP are pleased to announce the introduction of a new digital dictation system within the firm. Tods have chosen nFlow, a leading supplier of digital dictation solutions, to implement the scheme.
This announcement follows a formal tendering process which saw nFlow competing against another company for the valued contract. Both companies were asked to demonstrate their technical and support capabilities to the firm. After this, nFlow came out as the clear leader and was appointed to implement the new digital dictation system throughout the firm.
Ian Beck, our Head of Information Technology, stated “We were very impressed with nFlow as an organisation from the very start. They understood our firm’s culture and requirements and we had confidence they would be able to provide the highest level of service from the onset.”
The new system serves 188 users spread over the Edinburgh and Glasgow offices. This system was fully implemented following a successful pilot project within certain departments of the firm. The system has been praised for its simplicity and its ease of operation.
The nFlow team were delighted to win this contract. Rob Lancashire, nFlow Sales & Marketing Director commented “This was a significant win for nFlow as it clearly demonstrates not only the innovative technology we develop but also the service and approach nFlow customers have come to rely on and value.”
Recycling
The old dictation equipment which has been replaced by nFlow’s digital system has not gone to waste. Tods Murray has donated all the handsets, transcription systems etc to the World Emergency Relief who plan to pass on the equipment to Hospitals and Schools in Africa. This equipment will be used by Doctors in the Hospitals and by some schoolchildren to help them learn valuable secretarial skills.
