Katie Leung, who plays Cho Chang in the Harry Potter films has launched Tods Murray’s Children’s Art Competition. The Art Competition is part of a Challenge to raise money for the Princes' Trust, whose aim is to benefit young people. Those young people have looked upon the Princes' Trust as providing care and support where they consider it is absent and hence Tods Murray have used the issue of care as the theme for the Art Competition.
Katie has commented, “The meaning behind my drawing shows the two birds encouraging and supporting each other even though life may seem hard, boring or monotonous; hence the plain background. But as long as we help each other out and become motivated and hopeful, despite the negativity surrounding us, we will find happiness within ourselves – and this is conveyed through the birds’ vibrant colours."
Katie’s drawing is also being auctioned in Tods Murray’s Art Exhibition and Auction. To find out more visit www.todsmurray.com/lionsden
