Tods Murray staff showed their stamina and head for heights when they achieved 28th place in the Cairngorm Challenge on 15 September. They raised £1,800 for the organisers, Barnardo's.
The Challenge was for teams of up to four to complete a very demanding 50 km route whose details were not known in advance - within 12 hours. The TM team time was 8 hours 45 minutes.
The Challenge began with a 15 km hike to the top of Cairngorm, Scotland's sixth highest Munro at 1,245 metres (4,084 feet) high.
Returning to base by a scenic 35 km route through the Glenmore and Abernethy forests, the team then found enough energy to enjoy the participants' barbeque and entertainment held later!
