John deals with contentious and non-contentious town planning and construction matters, advising private clients, local authorities and property developers on issues including compulsory purchase acquisition, roads developments, minerals extraction and waste infill.
His clients include Scotia Developments, Heron Corporation and Balfour Beatty. He has recently obtained a £6m settlement for private clients in a mineral excavation dispute and completed compulsory land acquisition procedures to allow the development of gas pipelines to a contract value of £165m.
John is a Chartered Architect and Town Planner in addition to being a solicitor. He is also accredited as a specialist in planning law.
