With a background in all types of commercial litigation, Robert now concentrates on contentious employment cases and contentious insolvency work.
Recent work has included the conduct of multiple cases arising out of TUPE transfers in the construction industry, multiple applications arising out of the holiday pay provisions of the Working Time Regulations and advising on the introduction of new terms and conditions for a large workforce located throughout the United Kingdom. On the insolvency front Robert has acted to secure Scottish assets for the Special Administrator of the Parmalat Group, and acts on behalf of insolvency practitioners, English legal firms, creditors and company directors.
Robert regularly delivers both in-house and external seminars on subjects within his fields of expertise and is recommended in Legal Business’s “Legal Experts” in 2007 for Employment law.
