Debbie is responsible for the Client Relations Management & Business Development of the firm, working with the Executive Board, the Partners, and indeed all members of the firm to ensure that Tods Murray provides the best possible service for our clients. Debbie has extensive experience in business development, marketing and PR, not just from her time spent working in the Scottish professional service sector but also from experience gained in the hotel & leisure industry in London and the home counties in the 1980s. She is, herself, a qualified lawyer and retains her practising certificate.
In January 2007, following research carried out for Tods Murray by Strathclyde University's marketing department, Debbie launched a new networking group, the Tods Murray “Women in Business” Network. Members of this “Women in Business” network receive invitations to attend sector / topic specific lunches; networking events; dinners; briefings; and events which allow the business of networking to be a whole lot of fun.
Debbie also holds outside interests as a member of The Prince's Trust Scotland Development Board where she chairs the Fundraising Committee; a member of Barnardo's Scotland Development Board; an Honorary Fellow of Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh; and a Director of Critical Path Marketing Ltd.
Debbie joined Tods Murray from Morton Fraser in 2006.
