Head of our Property Finance team, Roddy is a partner in the banking and commercial property teams dealing with property finance, secured and structured lending, acquisition finance and property investment, development and letting. He acts for a variety of UK, European and American banks and institutions and also for a range of property investors.
Roddy has a particular interest in the funding of property transfers and outsourcing often using tax and other strategies to create value from property and other assets. Frequently the transactions he undertakes are highly structured involving innovative financing techniques including the use of off shore entities and Propco/Opco vehicles where ultimately the debt is securitised.
Roddy is recommended in Legal Business’s “Legal Experts” in 2007 for Banking and finance.
