Caroline deals with UK wide property transactions, including investment acquisitions, property finance, retail, freehold and leasehold sales, landlord and tenant, development, cross border work and corporate support. Caroline heads the team of six lawyers based in Glasgow who form the core of the English Property Law team, supporting the firm's banking, corporate and capital projects teams as well as providing a one stop Scottish based service for clients who have property interests throughout the UK.
On the investment side, Caroline acts for clients such as Nortrust Nominees, Moredun LP and the Private Property Fund. She has acquired £95m of investment property, industrial, offices and retail, in several portfolio deals over the past 12 months.
Caroline is dual qualified in Scots and English Law, a contributor to The Journal of the Law Society of Scotland. In 2002 she was named one of Scottish Business Insider's Young Guns, and has also made CA Magazine's 40 under 40 listing. Caroline was recommended in the Chambers UK 2006 Guide to the Legal Profession as a leading Scottish individual for investment acquisition work carried out for the Bank of Scotland Pension Fund. She was described by clients as "spot-on - she makes things happen."
