Anne Marie Renz joined Tods Murray in July as Head of Business Tax to complement our existing tax capabilities and has enabled us to enhance the range of tax services available to our clients. She advises on all aspects of taxation on a wide range of transactions including business formations, acquisitions, disposals, corporate restructuring, demergers, recoveries and liquidations. She has particular experience in property tax issues, having advised developers, investors and construction companies on issues such as structuring, joint ventures, capital allowances and disposals planning.
Anne Marie joined from her previous role as a Senior Manager in Corporate Tax with Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP, where she was responsible for the tax affairs of a number of quoted and unquoted companies. Anne Marie is a member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and the Chartered Institute of Taxation and has over 18 years experience as a tax specialist.
