Charity of the Year
Each year, Tods Murray's Charity Committee nominates a Charity of the Year.
For the 2011/2012 year we are delighted to be supporting Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres and will be working hard to raise funds for the Charity which provides support to anyone affected by cancer across the UK, empowering them to live with, through and beyond cancer.
The Tods Murray Charity Committee will undertake many creative initiatives during their partnership with Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres including a fundraising challenge for the firm’s Summer Law School students, participating in their run, hike and cycle contests as well as undertaking various cake bakes, competitions and dress down days throughout the year.
During the partnership Tods Murray staff will also be provided with opportunities to learn new skills through volunteering opportunities and with Maggie’s Centres on the doorstep of both Tods Murray’s offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, staff will also have the opportunity to visit the units and meet the people who will benefit from the commitment throughout the partnership.
