JOIN US TO HEAR HOW YOU CAN MAKE AND SAVE MONEY WITH RENEWABLES... ADVICE YOU CAN'T AFFORD TO MISS
Tods Murray and Bell Ingram are delighted to host this joint Briefing to help landowners and managers assess the merits of Hydro Electric Schemes and alternative Domestic Heating systems. Aimed specifically at those looking to make money via the sale of hydro-generated power and/or cut ever-increasing fuel bills by employing alternative forms of space and water heating, this one hour Briefing, chaired by Tods Murray’s Chairman Ian McPake, will cover in detail what is required, the advantages and pitfalls and the funding available.
Joe Fergusson, Microgeneration Specialist with Bell Ingram, will explain what makes for a technically feasible hydro scheme. Richard Leslie, Senior Associate with Tods Murray, will highlight some of the key legal issues that need to be considered before embarking on such a project; for example, who owns the title to the water bed and consideration of servitudes, and David Robertson, Associate Director and Accountant with Bell Ingram, will explain the financial detail in relation to hydro projects such as cash flow projections, ROCs (Renewables Obligation Certificates) and LECs (Levy Exemption Certificates).
Following this Joe Fergusson will provide key information on methods for reducing your heating bills, namely wood-fired boilers, heatpumps and solar collectors. Joe’s experience extends to all types of green energy production, energy efficiency and associated grant funding and he speaks regularly and objectively on all the options available to land, business and home owners.
The speakers will use their considerable experience of previous schemes with their knowledge of the future potential of similar projects and by the end of this one hour Briefing attendees will have a clear idea of what to do next if considering hydro electric or other methods of green energy production.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
