Tods Murray have been active in the environmental sector for a number of years whether dealing with wildlife legislation, advising on recycling of waste or involvement in regeneration projects.
Bringing together all of our environmental knowledge, we have launched The Tods Murray “Green Team”, a collaboration of dedicated Environment & Climate Change, Planning & Development and Renewable Energy specialists, who together seek to share ideas and assist in driving forward Scotland's green economy.
Lawyers on their own are not going to save the planet, but we can help by leading and stimulating debate and sharing information. Sustainable Development, a Low Carbon Economy, the effects of Climate Change, and Renewable Energy will all be common features of the future and as an environmentally aware law firm, we are willing to engage with new ideas to provide an innovative and up-to-date legal service.
We already provide advice and assistance on a range of environmental issues, but wish to go one step further by bringing relevant legal issues and items of interest to your attention. Please make use of the news items and links to articles and bulletins on these pages.
We have also embarked upon a series of green themed briefings which have included topics such as energy efficiency in business, construction waste and cutting costs for householders through saving energy.
