The Tods Murray "Third Sector Forum"

The Third Sector (typically this consists of non-government, not-for-profit bodies eg charities) is of growing significance and importance to the future of Scotland.  Last year, the Finance Secretary, John Swinney MSP, was reported as saying that “The third sector in Scotland has 'transformational potential'”…. And went on to say “…I am convinced that Scotland's third sector can and will play an increasingly important role in helping to improve the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in society. That's because third sector organisations – including social enterprises – are often best placed to connect with the individuals the public sector finds hardest to reach, bringing employment opportunities and income where the private sector doesn't operate.”

Within Tods Murray, we act for a growing number of charity clients ranging from not-for-profit charitable status organisations to fundraising bodies.  We recognised the need to facilitate a networking forum for the Third Sector in order to help those involved in this industry to share ideas and learn from the experiences of others.

Members of our “Third Sector Forum” will receive invitations to attend Briefings and Networking eventsMembership of this network is free and details are on the left.
