Caroline Treanor - Solicitor
Caroline joined Tods Murray’s Hospitality and Leisure Team in 2010, having previously worked as a licensing solicitor with Aberdeen City Council. Caroline trained as a solicitor with the City of Edinburgh Council.
Her broad range of licensing experience includes gambling and liquor licensing, civic licensing and Sports Ground Safety Certificate work.
In relation to liquor licensing, Caroline can prepare and submit premises licence applications and variations to the relevant Licensing Board; appear before the Board on your behalf; deal with review hearings; draft letters of objection/representation and give advice on all other aspects of liquor licensing.
With regard to civic licensing, Caroline also prepares and lodges applications/renewals in relation to Public Entertainment; Street Traders; Houses In Multiple Occupation; Late Hours Catering; Indoor Sports Entertainment, Market Operators’ and Taxis. She can also appear before the relevant Council Committee on your behalf and deal with objections/representations.
Caroline also deals with general gambling matters and enquiries.
In her previous career, she worked as both a croupier and inspector in top London casino clubs. She brings a wealth of background experience in the leisure sector to the Hospitality and Leisure Team.
