Chambers and Partners 2011Graham is recognised as an expert in banking and finance and specialises in commercial lending, debt trading and in particular securitisation and asset-backed finance. He was involved in the earliest securitisation transactions involving Scottish assets and developed (with Partner Hamish Patrick) the structures now generally used to securitise assets in Scotland.
He continues to be involved in a wide variety of securitisations and other structured transactions. Recent experience includes acting for Santander UK plc in relation to the restructuring of their covered bond and master trust securitisation programmes; acting for the Irish National Asset Management Agency ("NAMA") in relation to the acquisition and restructuring of a number of Scottish commercial property backed loans originated by various Irish financial institutions; and acting for Investec Bank plc in relation to a recent securitisation of residential mortgages.
Graham was appointed Chairman of the firm in October 2010.
