Malcolm joined Tods Murray in 1999, having qualified in 1995. He was assumed as a Partner in 2002 and is head of the Corporate team. Prior to studying law Malcolm gained an MA (Hons) in history.
He specialises in corporate work, including acquisitions and disposals, corporate finance, buy-outs, joint ventures and shareholder matters, limited partnerships and other commercial matters. He is also a member of the firm’s Families and Business and Hospitality and Leisure teams and has had significant involvement with the timeshare industry.
Recent work includes advising Low & Bonar plc as to Scots law on its capital reorganisation and related placing and open offer of new shares, raising approximately £33m; and advising Mitie Group plc as to Scots law on its £43m cash box placing.
