Her particular interests include development, with an emphasis on the commercial residential sectorFor Susie, the excitement of development work is seeing something which had only existed on a plan being turned into reality and being part of the team that makes that happen. It's that which has led her to focus on this area of commercial property law over a wide spectrum including residential, office, retail, renewable energy, mining and waste.
Among many projects, she masterminded the legal framework for the new Cardrona Village and is currently working on the new 1,000 home settlement at Wallyford which will include a new town centre with office, retail, a new primary school and library and other community facilities.
Susie also undertakes general acquisition, sale and leasing work.
Susie leads the commercial property team and is a Board member of the firm. She is an active member of the firm's Women in Business network and is a member of the Planning and Development Committee of the Scottish Property Federation.
