Hydro Electric and Sustainable Heating - the Hot Topic?
Land agents, Bell Ingram, and Tods Murray joined forces to host two informative “Briefings” on hydro electric schemes and sustainable heating. Held in September and October 2008, the “Briefings” were aimed at farmers and landowners/managers to provide the latest information both for private supply and revenue generating systems, based on the firms’ collective experiences of establishing small, medium and large scale systems.
The speakers were Richard Leslie of Tods Murray and Joe Fergusson and David Robertson both of Bell Ingram. The first “Briefing” being chaired by Tods Murray chairman, Ian McPake, and the second by Bell Ingram’s Managing Director, Graham Lumby.
Graham Lumby commented, “A total of 150 people have taken part in the two briefings, which is a big turnout and just goes to show the level of interest in the subject. It is encouraging to see so many people engaging in something as significant as this and more importantly willing to take action.”
