A case decided in the Court of Session in Edinburgh last week raises serious concerns about the validity of faxed missives, says leading independent Scots law firm Tods Murray, adding frustrating delays and a layer of uncertainty to a system that has come to rely on modern electronic communications to conclude property deals.
