Gender Diversity Research 2011
Following on from The Davies Report (Women on Boards), published by Lord Davies of Abersoch, in February 2011, we conducted a survey of business women in Scotland to gather their thoughts on whether the Davies Report will make a difference to corporate attitudes towards female board members, what plans women would like to see put in place to meet the targets set down in the Report, what obstacles are presently in the way and which successful women in business in Scotland most stand out. Leadership Research
Throughout the summer of 2010 we joined together with Marsh, insurance broker and risk adviser, to run a second survey of successful women in business and record their findings for the "Women in Business" leadership debate – Scotland – 2010, which was hosted on 21 October with guest speaker Susan Rice, Managing Director of Lloyds Banking Group, Scotland. The results of this research can be viewed in the second download below.

Founding Research
In 2006 Tods Murray commissioned the University of Strathclyde Business School to carry out research into the impact of business women’s professional networks in Scotland.  The results of this survey gave clear support for business women’s networks as a valuable way for women to get together to support each other and share common issues. The research showed that they provide a different environment to mixed gender networks and, as a consequence, they help women meet more new people in business and become more confident in sharing ideas in the workplace.  The findings of that research can be viewed in the first download below and were presented at Tods Murray’s Edinburgh office on 11th January 2007, by Professor Gillian Hogg MA PgCert PhD.
